31 Tent Only Sites; 2 GroupSites; Base $25. From the South take I-91 north to exit 27, take Route 2 east for 3 miles. From the North take exit 27 (route 2 east) follow Route 2 east for 3 miles. From the East take Route 2 west. After passing over the French King Bridge, Barton Cove will be 3 miles on the right. Barton cove is 2 hours from Boston, Hartford or Albany. At Barton Cove we take pride in preserving the true enjoyment of tent camping. Here, shaded walks, sunsets reflecting over the Connecticut River, and quiet paddling in the plunge pools of ancient waterfalls are some of the pleasures for you to enjoy. Barton Cove has limited vehicle access to campsites, and is an alcohol free campground.
